The Institute for Preparing Heirs (IPH) announced today that Lisa D. Snyder has joined the generational wealth advisor training firm as Managing Partner & Chief Learning Officer, responsible for business development, client relationships, and strategic and thought leadership.
“We’re in the midst of the greatest generational wealth transfer in history. A firm’s long-term success relies upon its ability to retain next generations by offering new and differentiating inheritance advice. Advice beyond estate planning and investment efficiency,” said Ms. Snyder. “Today’s advisors need the ability to move conversations from money matters to family matters.”
She added, “Successful advisors have two common traits—the humility to prepare and the confidence to execute. The Institute helps advisors become their clients’ most Trusted Family Advisor®. Here, the advisor engages families in conversations about legacy and impact, and how to unify families around the purpose of their wealth.”
Under Ms. Snyder’s leadership, IPH will focus on business growth opportunities across various areas within financial services. These include Registered Investment Advisory firms, insurance providers, private banks, asset management firms and family offices. Individual wealth advisors will also be able to take advantage of IPH workshops through its open enrollment programs.
Ms. Snyder brings more than 25 years of combined experience as an estate planning attorney, financial planner, and wealth management legacy consultant. She focuses on family wealth preservation and transfer. She frequently speaks on the preparing heirs topic at professional development conferences and client events.
Most recently, Ms. Snyder led the Legacy Strategies initiative for First Republic Private Wealth Management. She also served as Director and Wealth Management Consultant at UBS Financial Services, and Strategic Marketing Consultant at Transamerica. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ohio University.
